| A message to anyone still out here (and no, gogalucky, this isn't news to you...):
I'm going to be in California from the beginning of August until the 10th of August for probably the last time. After this, I probably won't visit California again even if I do go to the States and will be located (for the most part) in the Boston area. So if you're going to be there, we might still meet. But for now, it's bye-bye CA so if anyone is in the area and wants to hang, let me know. I'd really like to see whoever I can, find out how everything's been going for the last ever, etc.
And even if we can't meet up in the end, I hope all's well.

| That was pretty anti-climatic.

| Today should have been better than it was.
Twenty-four hours until I go to the airport and fly out to Germany. My bag is all packed, my binder is so incredibly boring (major lit exam tomorrow...) and I got news today that I got a much better grade an important math exam (from January) than what I should have gotten. On the one hand, I'm happy about the grade but on the other hand I'm a little suspicious of the way I got the grade... Still, my math teacher called me up especially to tell me. I think she was pretty happy too. Who knew?
10 days rocking 'round Germany. I have to take care of tons of stuff beforehand... 40 more math problems to go. I should probably sleep at some point too... Oh, and lots of taking care of other people's workloads for them. I shouldn't have offered to do all this stuff for people. Oh well. Too late.
(if there's anyone still out there... and if nobody's here, it's no different than usual, right?)

| I think my programming must be faulty - unless I'm very much mistaken, I'm running a loop here.
Anyways, the last couple of weeks I've been working pretty hard to get my book blog up and running. Obviously, it's not that hard when all I have to is fit it to the blogger template I like and then spiff it up just a little. The harder part is the writing, the gaining readers, and the, you know, everything part. I've been reading dozens of book blogs for about a month now, taking notes on what most of the bloggers write about. It's interesting, if only because most of the blogs are super similar. I won't get into it, but I really don't want my blog to look anything like theirs. I'm aiming for something completely uncluttered, again, to contrast other blogs. I don't want flashy gadgets on the on the side, I don't want huge, stupid pictures slowing down my page. I don't want memes (argh, ugh!). I just want something light, classy, and nice.
Unfortunately, I'm not succeeding too well. I've been trying to get other book bloggers to take a peek at me, but most come back once and forget about it. Few leave comments. It's also hard for me to get into this "community". I've tried leaving lots of comments on other people's blogs, but the problem is that it's really hard to leave a comment on a book review of a book that I have little interest in reading (and they all review the same books!). What's the point in writing if nobody reads it (irony props to this exact post)?
So, looping again, completely shamelessly linking: biblibio.blogspot.com
